Michelle Burris is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Ryan Murchie and Associates (RMA), bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record in sales growth, recruitment, and management. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin University, which laid the foundation for her successful career in the insurance industry. Before joining RMA, Michelle served as the Vice President of Sales for Liberty Bankers Insurance Group, where she specialized in cross-selling Medicare plans alongside ancillary products. Prior to that, she spent the majority of her career at JSA as the Vice President of Sales for the Southern region, where she worked closely with RMA and its CEO, Ryan Murchie. Michelle and Ryan first collaborated in 2019 at JSA, and their professional relationship soon blossomed into a strong friendship, making her transition to RMA as COO a natural next step. Recently, Michelle relocated from Dallas to Colorado, bringing her expertise in driving sales and leading teams to help RMA continue to grow and succeed.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Michelle is deeply committed to philanthropy. She works with three nonprofit organizations, including one that supports homeless individuals, another focused on helping those struggling with addiction, and one in Southern Arizona where she established a children’s memorial park and community center in honor of her brother and sister who passed away. Michelle founded the park in 2018 as a way to give back to the community and create a place of remembrance and healing. In her free time, Michelle enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and spending quality time with friends.
