Luis was born and raised in Puerto Rico where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Sport Medicine. However, his passion for airplanes led him to Oklahoma in 1999 to pursue his pilot license. Despite his aspirations, life had other plans, and he began his career in the banking industry as a collection agent for the largest Hispanic credit card company at the time. He later relocated to Florida to supervise the Spanish collection department, before returning to Puerto Rico in 2006 to be closer to his family and continue working in the collection and sales industry. In 2014, Luis relocated to Greeley, Colorado, where he began his insurance career after gaining experience in international sales and the trucking industry. Luis joined RMA in 2019 and was named Rookie of the Year in 2020. From 2022 until 2024 Luis is serving as the Community Outreach Coordinator at Aetna, where he helped brokers expand their book of business.

In 2024, Luis returned home to RMA as the Vice President of Sales, where he focuses on national recruiting efforts and conducting training classes for our brokers.

Luis is a devoted father of four, consisting of three daughters and one son. His children are his inspiration and motivation, and he cherishes every moment spent with them. Luis finds solace in outdoor activities, ranging from water sports to camping. His true passion lies in assisting others in achieving their goals and spending quality time with his children in the great outdoors.
